Founded in 1951, CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as CCCC4Harbour) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. (one of the Fortune 500 companies). As a large enterprise certified with national special grade qualification for general contracting of harbor and navigation engineering construction as well as national first-grade qualification for general contracting of highways, municipal utilities, bridge and tunnel engineering construction, CCCC4Habour is mainly engaged in investment, survey, design, scientific research and construction of a variety of large projects like ports, bridges, railways, expressways, municipal works and hydraulic works etc., as well as shipbuilding. Its comprehensive strength is at the forefront in the engineering & construction industry in South China and ranked the 31st among the Top 100 Enterprises in Guangdong Province. Both the total asset and the annual business revenue of CCCC4Harbour are over RMB 10 billion.
CCCC4Harbour has constructed more than 100km long quay line of port structures and 1,000km long of highways, bridges and tunnels in over 20 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across China and in more than 10 countries and regions such as Hong Kong, Macau, Malta, Pakistan, Sudan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Angola, Nigeria, Mexico, and Kenya etc. Moreover, It has been awarded in succession many railway projects such as Taiyuan-Zhongwei-Yinchuan Railway, Harbin-Dalian High-Speed Passenger Railway, Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Passenger Railway, Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity High-Speed Passenger Railway and Guiyang-Guangzhou Railway etc. In recent years, CCCC4Harbour has also set foot in the investment sector, undertaking several BOT projects such as Liancheng Bridge in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, Lidu Changjiang River Bridge in Fuling District of Chongqing and Guangzhou-Gaoming Expressway etc. with a total investment of near RMB 4 billion.
